    OUR TEAM

“Trust in the Lord with all your Heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

"Hearts in Faith was a vision given to our Founder, Dr. Leslie Davis, by God to empower single moms, aka Sweet Hearts who sometimes feel alone and have little to no support. Sometimes society may view Sweet Hearts as only struggling and not thriving. Be encouraged by knowing that we are all created by God with unique gifts and talents. Just because you are unmarried does not mean that you are not valued or unworthy of love and support. Single moms have a unique journey as you balance your wants and desires for relationships, careers, etc. with your duty and privilege to be amazing moms. Leslie has been on this single mom journey for over 16 years, so trust when we tell you that she knows the struggle. Being a single mom is a huge challenge with immeasurable rewards. Yes, there are days when she feels like she's not doing enough as a mom while balancing being a mother, a counselor, a boss, a friend, etc. But she has learned to rely on God’s guidance as He provides the strength and wisdom to endure the single mom journey."

According to the CDC, "Youth violence is an adverse childhood experience and is connected to other forms of violence, including child abuse and neglect, teen dating violence, adult intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and suicide."
